5.  greeting cards and envelopes
6.  stapler
7.  tape
8.  a variety of lined and unlined paper
9.  pens
10. calendars

What materials do you like to include in the writing area?

  1. Lately our kids have been into forms of any sort. We also always have hole punchers.

  2. Oh, and I'd love you to come add this to the It's Playtime link up! http://progressiveearlychildhoodeducation.blogspot.com/2011/04/its-playtime-at-let-children-play.html

  3. I like to add stickers, stationary and notepads. Also long paper for making lists (like for groceries.)

  4. Great starter ideas! I am converting our art area to a writing/art area this week and will use many of these. Thanks!!

  5. This is a great list of materials. Homeschool mommies should have these items too! Thanks for sharing on It's Playtime! I'm glad Jenny sent you over!
